Tech4Health is a new institute at NYU School of Medicine (NYUSOM). Our mission is to design technologies to improve human health. We serve as a hub for the development of new enabling technologies that will advance basic biomedical discovery and clinical care.
Located on a newly renovated floor on the NYUSOM superblock on 1st Avenue, Tech4Health is home to a diverse and rapidly growing group of investigators committed to the development of new tools and technologies for monitoring, modulating, and analyzing bio-signals. Tech4Health core staff includes faculty, students, and a cadre of professional engineers. We work closely with clinical and research departments around NYUSOM, as well as with faculty at NYU’s Tandon School of Engineering.
NYU School of Medicine
NYU School of Medicine is one of the foremost medical schools in the United States. NYU Langone Health community includes leading programs in biomedical imaging, neuroscience, and computational biology among other areas.
At NYU Grossman School of Medicine, you’re more than a student or a researcher. You’re a member of a diverse and exciting academic community where our commitment to innovation and collaboration is evident in everything we do. We have a long and proud history of pioneering scientific discovery, but we’re not content to let our past define us. We constantly strive to find bold new ways to fulfill our trifold mission: to serve, to teach, and to discover.
Since its founding in 1831, NYU has been an innovator in higher education, reaching out to an emerging middle class, embracing an urban identity and professional focus, and promoting a global vision that informs its 19 schools and colleges.
Today, that trailblazing spirit makes NYU one of the most prominent and respected research universities in the world, featuring top-ranked academic programs and accepting fewer than one-in-five undergraduates. Anchored in New York City and with degree-granting campuses in Abu Dhabi and Shanghai as well as 11 study away sites throughout the world, NYU is a leader in global education, with more international students and more students studying abroad than any other US university.
